Biography

Dr. Parviz Mohajeri is currently working as Assistant Professor of Medical Bacteriology, and Senior Researcher & Head of West Tuberculosis Center, Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Medicine, Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences. He obtained his Ph.D. in Medical Bacteriology from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Iran. He is member of Iranian Society of Microbiology. He is also serving as reviewer for journals such as Iranian Journal of Microbiology, Jundishapur Journal of Microbiology, Advanced Biomedical Research, Journal of Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, and Journal of Ilam University of Medical Sciences, Yafte Journal of Medical Sciences, Eastern Journal of Medicine, and The Malaysian Journal of Medical sciences. He was awarded prize for the best Teacher in Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, and student scholarship from Iranian Ministry of Health & Medical Education to complete PhD program His research area focuses on Pulsed-field gel Electrophoresis, Bacterial Toxin Extraction, Flow Cytometry, Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP), Cytometric Bead Array (CBA), SDS-PAGE, PCR, PCR-RFLP, Cell Culture, and ELISA. He has published 35 research articles in journals as well as 20 papers in congresses and 1 book contributed as author/co-author.
