Biography

Dr. Amir Ghaemi obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular Virology from Tarbiat Modares University, Iran. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor at Golestan University of Medical Sciences, Iran, and Biotechnology Manager of Hi-tech Center, Minister of Industries and Mines. His area of research interest related to Nanocarriers and Gene Delivery Systems, and Gene and Stem Cell Therapy. Dr. Amir received number of honors includes Ranked 1st among 480 examinees for the M.Sc. entrance exam, held by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, PhD Scholarship from Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Iran National Elite foundation member, Outstanding National Student Award of Iran, The Best Researcher of Golestan province, and The Best Researcher of Golestan University of Medical Sciences. He also received many grants for his research work. He has published 21 research articles in ISI journals, 11 articles in Persian, 12 papers in scientific meeting, 1 patent and 1 book contributed as author/co-author. He successfully supervised 5 MSc students.
