Biography

Dr. Mohammed Arafa has Ph.D. in Civil/construction Engineering from University of Kassel, Germany. M.Sc. in structural engineering from An-Najah National University, Nablus, Palestine. Currently, he is a professor of structural engineering at the Islamic University-Faculty of Engineering. Dr. Arafa is one of the consultants and founders of ENFRA and head of Structural/Construction Department, he has over 25 years of professional experience in construction engineering, structural buildings, evaluations/damage assessments and infrastructure. He was selected as member of different technical committees in tendering, design or construct of different big projects in Gaza and other countries. Dr. Arafa is concentrated in design/redesign of all types of structures, plan and conduct site investigations, prepare and prepare evaluation reports. Dr Arafa has published many papers in field of analysis and design of construction management, finite element, structural concepts... etc.
