Biography

Dr. Asma Salman holds a position of Associate Professor at American University in the Emirates, College of Business Administration. She has completed her MBA in Finance and Accounting and earned a PhD in Finance and International Economics from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, with research credentials from Brunel University, London, U.K. Previously she was appointed as CO Chartered Accountants at Auditing Committee, Finance Accountant at National Database and Registration Authority, Assistant Professor at Fatima Jinnah Women University, Assistant Professor at Department of Accounting, Finance, Insurance and Risk Management. She is professional member of IEDRC, IAMSET, and IASCIT. She is also serving as Assistant Editor for The International Journal of Organizational Innovation member of editorial board in International Journal of Trade Economics and Finance and Reviewer at numerous International Conferences. She is HEC’s (Pakistan) approved supervisors’ list for Master’s and PHD level theses. She has 18 publications in journals.
