Biography

Dr. Arijit Das obtained his B.Sc. in Microbiology, Chemistry, Zoology in 2005 at The Oxford College of Science, Bangalore University, India. He completed M.Sc. in Microbiology in 2007 from The Oxford College of Science, Bangalore University, India. Dr. Arijit Das started his professional career in 2008 as Research Associate in Jain University, Bangalore, India. He was awarded Ph.D. in Food Microbiology in 2014 from the Department of Microbiology, Karpagam University, Coimbatore, India. He is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Center for Post Graduate Studies, Jain University, Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Dr. Arijit Das`s current research interests are Microbial Enzymes, Bacteriophages, Traditional Indian Fermented Foods, Food Borne Diseases, Microbiological Quality of Foods and Biodegradation of mycotoxins.
