Dr. Ajay Semalty is presently working as Assistant Professor (Pharmaceutics), in Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, H.N.B. Garhwal University Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand. He was awarded M. Pharm. from B.N.P.G. College of Pharmacy, M.L.S. University Udaipur (Rajasthan) and doctorate from H.N.B. Garhwal University Srinagar Garhwal, India. He completed his post doctoral research in Meijo University Nagoya, Japan. He was awarded “Young Scientist Award” of the year 2007 by Uttarakhand Council of Science & Technology (UCOST), Govt. of Uttarakhand. He has a total of 64 papers (30 International, 34 National) in various peer reviewed national and international journals of high impact to his credit. He is peer reviewer for various pharmacy journals of Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Informa, Springer and Bentham. He is memeber of editorial board of various national journals. He has also published two books entitled “Art of Writing and Publishing in Pharmaceutical Journals” and “Essentials of Pharmaceutical Technology” (published by Pharma Book Syndicate, Hyderabad). He has 2 indian patents to her credit. Apart from his pharmacy qualifications, he is also a postgraduate in Management- MBA with specialization in Operation Management from IGNOU, New Delhi. He is Vice President of Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) of Uttarakhand State branch (2008-11). He is life member of APTI and IPA. He has more than 11 years of experience of teaching and research.
