Biography

Dr. Jai S. is currently working as Associate consultant for(Shivaji University) organization and Microbiological consultancy in various aspects related to food and pharmaceutical industry, waste treatment, etc. He completed his Ph.D. in Microbiology from University of Poona, Pune in 1983. He is also Ph.D. guide in the subjects of Agrochemicals, Pest Management and Microbiology of Shivaji University, Kolhapur. His prior work experience includes Vice President, Head of Quality Control Department of a Fisheries Unit, Unit Manager, Post Doctoral Fellow, Scientific Officer, MONBUSHO Scholar, and Senior Research Fellow on a CSIR & ICAR Project. He has also tremendous experience of teaching in different Departments. He has received the number of awards and achievements in different categories such as The International Einstein award for scientific achievement, Outstanding Leadership award, International Biographical Centre Man of the Year 2012, 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century, Lead Faculty and Fellow of the Society for Applied Biotechnology. He is serving as an editor/editorial, associate, managing and technical board member and as well as reviewer of many journals. He is lifetime member of various national and international scientific and professional organizations.
