Biography

Dr. Jyoti Srivastava is presently working as Associate Professor in the department of Bioscience & Biotechnology, Banasthali University, Rajasthan India. She has completed her Ph.D. from a renowned laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, National Botanical Research Institute Lucknow ,India. She has attained 10 years teaching & research experience also guided 9 Ph.D. students & 20 M.Sc. dissertation students for research work.Presently she is working in field of Phytoremediation technology for the removal of heavy metals like Cd & Pb from the soil as well as water using hyperaccumulator plants. Another important area of her research work is biotic stresson the plants & studies on Plant -pathogen interaction.
She has also been awarded with CSIR-SRF fellowship. She got selected from Indian Academy of Sciences Bangalore for summer research fellowship in 2002. She has more than 25 publications in National & International Journals of repute. She has presented more than 30 papers in National & International conferences.
