Biography

Dr. Sudip Kumar Sinha obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from University of Calcutta, India in 2009. He is having six years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor in Department of Botany, Victoria Institution (College), Kolkata, more than ten years of research experience in the field of Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology and Bioinformatics at Plant Molecular Biology Laboratory, Department of Plant Biology, Bose Institute, Kolkata, and almost one and half year of research experience as a Research Fellow in the field of Molecular Microbiology at Infectious Disease Laboratory, Department of Biophysics, Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata. Dr. Sudip Kumar received honors include received Best Poster award at the scientific sessions of 10th FAOBMB Congress, get National Scholarship in B.Sc. (Hons.) Examination from National Scholarship Scheme of Government of India, and qualified in CSIR-UGC NET (JRF), held on December 31, 2000 in Life Sciences and has secured place among the top 20% awardees and eligible to take the first SPM fellowship test at Pune. He also attended 15 seminars/symposium/workshops. He has published 4 articles in journals, 2 abstracts as author/co-author.
