Biography

Dr. Jagbir Singh Tyagi is currently working as Principal Scientist at Division of Avian Physiology and Reproduction, Central Avian Research Institute, India. He has completed his Ph.D. in Livestock Production and Management from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Haryana, India. Previously he was appointed as Trainee Scientist at NAARM, Hyderabad, Trainee Scientist and Scientist at CARI, Izatnagar. He also served as chief editor for Indian Journal of Poultry Science. Dr. Jagbir received honors include Merit Fellowship during Ph.D. and secured 1st position, Ayurvet Research Award, Best Poster Award IPSACON at CARI Izatnagar, and Best paper presentation Award in IPSACON at Palakkad. He is also serving as reviewer for journals such as Indian Journal of Poultry Science, Agricultural Research Communication, Indian Journal of Animal Science, Animal Nutrition and Feed Technology, and Iranian Journal of Applied Animal Science. He is life member of Indian Poultry Science Association, Society of Animal Physiologists of India and Indian Society for the Study of Animal Reproduction. Dr. Jagbir has published 38 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author.
