Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman is currently working as Assistant Professor at in the Department of Fisheries Technology, Faculty of Fisheries, Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Bangladesh. He has completed M.Sc./M.Sc. (Hons.) in Fisheries Technology from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh. He is student of M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, Japan. Previously he was appointed as Research Assistant at Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh, Lecturer, Chairmen and Principal Investigator in a one year research project at Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Bangladesh, Co-investigator in a 3 three years research project funded by Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC), Bangladesh, and Assistant Provost in the M. Keramot Ali residential student hall, Patuakhali Science and Technology University. Mr. Md. Mizanur received honors includes Japanese Government Scholarship awarded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Japan and Research Fellowship awarded by the Ministry of National Science and Information & Communication Technology (NSICT), Bangladesh. He is life member of Bangladesh Fisheries Research Forum (BFRF), Bangladesh, and general member of Krishibid Institution, Bangladesh. He has 6 publications in journals. His main area of research interest focuses on Food (Fish) Freshness and Quality, Sea Food Chemistry, Fishing Technology, Fishery Product & By-product Development, and Fish Flavor, Off-flavor and Sensory Science.
