Dr. Haifeng Felix Liao is currently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Geography, University of Idaho. He has completed his Ph.D. in Geography from University of Utah, USA, and M.Phil in Geography from The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China. His area of research interest focuses on Economic Geography, Foreign Direct Investment, Innovation, Regional/Rural Development & Resilience, China, Environmental Sustainability, Urbanization, Land Use, Built-Environment and housing, Ecosystem Services, and GIS, Spatial Econometrics, Hedonic Analysis, Discrete Choice Modeling. He has published 15 research articles in peer reviewed journals, 4 book chapters, 3 peer reviewed conference proceedings, and 14 conference proceedings, contributed as author/co-author. He also received research grants for his research work. He is also serving as peer reviewer for number of journals.
