Biography

EKO WIDARYANTO,PROF.DR.IR. is currently workinga Professor in Departement of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture at Brawijaya University, Indonesia. He is a senior partner with the Ministry of Agriculture in term of biofuel development ang has been doing a lot of counseling program about the development of biofuel in almost every province in Indonesia. He has two patent from Ministry of Law and Human Right, the first one is Biofuel stove and the second is Bio-ethanol stove. He has published more than 50 scintific papers and projects either presented or published in International and National Peer reviewer Journals. He found the variety type of Jatropha (physicnut/Jatropha curcas), which is suspected to be non-toxic variety.. He is recognized is the editor-in-chief of the journal Plantropica (Agronomy Dept. Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University) in 2017 and he was a reviewer for Biology books at UB Press Brawijaya University (2010) and reviewer from the Journal of Agrivita (2012). He is also e member of the Weed Science Society of Indonesia, Association of Horticulture Indonesia and Associaton of Agonomy Indonesia. So far, he has produced more than 10 M.Sc scholar. Now a-day he is supevising 4 Ph.D and 4 M.Sc student respectively.
