Dr. Abadal-Salam Taha Hussain is currently working as Senior Lecturer at University Malaysia Perlis, Malaysia. He has completed his Ph.D. in Mechatronic Engineering from same University. He is having 18 years academic and industrial experience. His main area of research interest related to Mechatronic Engineering, (Synergistic Combination of Electrical, Electronics, Computer and Control Systems Engineering), and Mechanical, Manufacturing & Materials Engineering (Photonic Systems & Renewable Energy Engineering). He successfully supervised 5 Engineering research projects at Bachelor level, 10 Engineering research projects of Higher National Diploma HND level, and 1 MSc project. He has involved in such committees at Ittihad University, University of Sharjah & Sharjah Institute of Technology for Higher National Diploma HND accreditation process, and awarded a Recognition Letter of Personal Contribution on Academic Planning & Curriculum Development. He has published 6 books, 6 research articles in journal, and 7 papers in conferences contributed as author/co-author. He is member of IEEE Postgraduate, reviewer/editorial board on Medwell Journals International Journal of Soft Computing, Iraqi Union for Engineers, Baghdad, Iraq, and full member of Microsoft TechNet Club, Microsoft, Middle East.
