Biography

Marisa de Cacia Oliveira holds a bachelor`s degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Paraná (1991), a master`s degree in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry) from the Federal University of Paraná (1995) and a PhD in Biological Sciences (Plant Physiology) from the University of São Paulo (2005) . She worked for more than 10 years at the Federal University of Paraná as an agronomist, responsible for the Experimental Station of Bandeirantes and later in plant physiology laboratory of the Department of Plants in the same Institution. She is currently associate professor II of the Federal Technological University of Paraná, Campus Pato Branco, in the area of Biochemistry and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants.
