Biography

Hugo Mendieta Zerón, MD is a Full Time Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMex), Chief of the Research Department of the "Mónica Pretelini Sáenz" Maternal-Perinatal Hospital (HMPMPS), Medical Director of Ciprés Grupo Médico SC (CGM) and Director of the Asociación Científica Latina A.C. (ASCILA). He is Fellow of the American College of Physicians and belongs to the National System of Researcher (SNI) in Mexico. Dr. Mendieta Zerón has over 100 scientific papers. He is a regularly invited to give academic lecturers at national and international meeting. Dr. Mendieta has been awarded with several scientific recognitions. He has served as the founder and First Chief of three Laboratories of Molecular Biology in Toluca, State of Mexico. Dr. Mendieta`s main research line is Metabolism and the use of molecular techniques in the clinical field.
