Biography

Kiya Adare is assistant Professor of Soil Sciences at Haramaya University. His major duties are teaching, conducting demand driven research and community services and volunteer works. Besides teaching, his involvement in research undertakings is also encouraging. He has a deep interest in basic and strategic research employing state- of- art- approaches and methodologies. Since joining Arba Minch and Haramaya Universities, he had been busy in planning and executing research programs. He possesses an ability to envision and pursue research agenda individually. He loves to work in unison with other colleagues in the organization in the true spirit of team work on research activities. With no doubt, he has gained enough knowledge in his previous filed of work with rich leadership experience which make him competent and support the institution to practically apply my knowledge to the development needs of my country. Furthermore, he has a strong interest in research engagement and aspires to build his capacity to do the job even better in the future. He has conducted many researches and published in the reputable journals. His previous research works were focused on Soil Sciences and Plant nutrition.
