Biography

Dr. Nada Babiker Hamza is currently working as Director, Commission for Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering, The National Center for Research, Sudan. She has completed her PhD in Molecular Genetics & Molecular Systematic from Department of Applied Plant Sciences and Plant Biotechnology, University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences (BOKU), Vienna, Austria and Post Doctorate Fellow in Biodiversity Genetics from University of Bergen, Norway. Previously she was appointed as Guest Researcher at Institute of General Botany and Nature Management, Vrije University Brussels, Researcher at University of Natural Resources & Applied Life Sciences (BOKU), Vienna, Austria, and Visiting Scientist at International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi. She has published 32 research articles in journals as author/co-author. She also participated actively in 26 conferences in 19 countries from various continents.
