Biography

Dr. Rotimi Olusanya Arise is currently working as Senior Lecturer at Department of Biochemistry, University of Ilorin. He earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from same University. He also served as Assistant Lecturer, Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State. He is member of Nigerian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Nigerian Society for Experimental Biology. His area of research interest focuses on Enzymology, Drug Development for Chronic and Infectious Diseases, Efficacy and Safety, and Environmental Biochemistry. He also completed 6 research projects. He is author and co-author of 38 journal articles. He also attended number of conferences and performed presentations. He successfully supervised 5 PhD thesis, and 7 masters thesis. Dr. Rotimi received honors includes Ondo State Government Scholarship, and 2008 CNPq-TWAS Award.
