Biography

Mr. Yakubu Pwajok Mwanja is Ph.D. Student in Botany, Plant Biotechnology from University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He has completed his MSc from University of Jos, Nigeria. Currently he is working as Assistant Lecturer at Plateau State University (PLASU), Bokkos, Nigeri. Previously he was appointed as Education Officer II at Zang Secondary School, Bukuru, Nigeria, and Manager at Biotec Laboratories, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria, and Lecturer III at College of Arts, Science and Technology, Kurgwi. He was part of the team that won the Plateau State Governors Recommendation Award for 1st position in the Interim Joint Matriculation Board Exams (IJMBE) in 2015 in CAST, Kurgwi, Nigeria, and National Award for the best Botany lecturer in the CAST, Kurgwi when the College came out tops in 1st position in IJMBE National exams. He is member of Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN) and Botanical Society of Nigeria (BOSON). He has published 1 chapter in book and 4 research articles in journals as author/co-author. His area of research expertise includes Natural Sciences, Biological sciences, Botany, Plant Breeding & Biotechnology, and Plant Genetics& Molecular Biology.
