Biography

Mohamed Benkhelifa is Professor of Higher Education at the University IbnBadis Abdelhamid of Mostaganem. Agronomist of the National School of Agronomy of Algiers ENASA in 1984, he holds a magister (1997) and a doctorate es Science (2007) in Science Soil at ENASA.
He teaches for thirty years in the field of soil science and environmental at the agronomy department of the University of Mostaganem. He appraised several scientific research projects of soil and sustainable development in arid and semi-arid areas at the request of the Directorate of Research of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
He has supervised more than 80 theses between agricultural engineers, masters and doctorates. He also appraised several thesis of habilitation in the field of agronomy and soil science.
He is constantly asked to chair or participate in defense juries of doctoral and Master thesis.
He has chaired and coordinated several applied research projects in sustainable development in Algeria and abroad: France with INRAA Versailles on land use and degradation of ecosystems and Brazil with the UFSM (Federal University of Santa Maria) and the UPF (Passo Fundo University) on the problem of soil degradation and water resources in the case of family farming.
He has over 16 international publications as author and co-author and often participates in international scientific events in several countries in Europe, Asia and America.
