Biography

Dr. Sayed Safina is currently working as Associate Professor in Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University, Egypt. He received his Ph.D. and MSc in Agronomy from same University in 2007 & 2003 respectively. His area of research interest related to Crop Production, Crop Intensification, Cropping Systems, Weed Science, Biotic and a Biotic Stress and Organic Agriculture. He is member of different scientific societies such as Egyptian Association of Plant Breeding, Egyptian Association of Weed Science, Egyptian Association of Crop Science, International Association of Water Technology, and African Association for Sustainable Development, and member of Quality Unit of Agronomy Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University. He also supervised 5 MSc students thesis, and 4 PhD students thesis. He has published 3 articles in journals as well as 4 conferences proceedings. He also participated in number of conferences and workshops.
