Biography

Dr. Hashem Madkour has been with the Red Sea branch of the National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries at Hurghada, Egypt, where he has been an Associate Professor since 2010. After graduating in Geology in 1988 from Assiut University, he received a M.Sc. in Marine Geology, and a Ph.D. in Marine and Environmental Geology from South Valley University in 2000 & 2004 respectively for work on Geochemical and Environmental Studies of Marine Sediments and Invertebrates of the Red Sea Coast in Egypt. He has published 28 articles in journals as author/co-author. His area of expertise includes Geology, Marine Geology, Geochemical and Environmental Studies, and Marine Sediments and Invertebrates.
