Biography

A researcher in Pharmacognosy department in National Research Centre and I got my Ph. D. degree in science, organic chemistry department, faculty of science, menoufia university 2010. My scientific research interests are extraction and isolation of bio-active chemical constituents of medicinal plants as flavonoids, alkaloids, terpenoids, other phenolic and aromatic compounds by different chromatographic methods: paper chromatography (PC), column chromatography (CC), and thin layer chromatography (TLC). Chemical structural elucidation of natural products by techniques of spectroscopic analysis as UV, IR, 1D (1H-NMR, 13C-NMR), and MS, 2D-NMR (H, H-COSY, HSQC, HMBC). I had published more than 70 articles in international journals.

I had attended three local conferences and participated in nine international conferences. I had a supervision of two M. Sc. students.

I had a followship to Germany Universities (November 2006), and a certificate for the Scientific Excellence from NRC (2012), (2013), (2014), (2015).

I am a member of Association of Agriculture Technology in Southeast Asia (AATSEA) and an editor in more than 50 international journals and a reviewer in more than 10 international journals.

I am a member of eight international projects (Brazil, Turkey, France, Portugal, Croatia, South Africa, also I had many international cooperations with Dr. Monica Butnariu (Romania), Dr. Marina Sokovic (Serbia), Prof. Dr. Isabel Ferreira (Portugal), Prof. Dr. Robert Domitrović (Croatia), Prof. Dr. Chistiane Feitosa (Brazil), Dr. Francesca Pintus (Italy), Dr. Lucy Ono (Brazil), Dr. Wilson Cunha (Brazil), Dr. Maryna van de Venter (South Africa), Dr. Karin Seron (France), Dr. Aytaç Guder Turkey and Dr. Samy Selim (Faculty of Science, Suez Canal University, Ismailia, Egypt).
