Dr. Mustafa Shawki El-Sherify is currently working as Specialist in Radiation Oncology, Co-chair of Head & Neck, Lung, and GIT cancers Unit at Kuwait Cancer Control Center, Kuwait. He has completed his MD in Clinical Oncology and Master Degree in Radiotherapy and Clinical Oncology from Cairo University School of Medicine (Kasr El-Aini Faculty of medicine). He is also serving as member in the Medical team for Accreditation committee with UHN (University Hospitals Network, Toronto, Canada) for accreditation of Kuwait Cancer Center and member in the Radiotherapy Department Scientific Committee at Kuwait Cancer Control Center, Kuwait and member of the Cancer Research Higher Committee in Ministry of Health in Kuwait. Previously he was appointed as House-officer at Mansoura University Hospitals, Primary Health Care Provider at the Ministry of Health and Population, Damietta Governorate, Clinical Oncology Specialist in Kasr Al-Aini Educational New Hospital, Cairo, Egypt, and Radiation Oncology Registrar (locum) in Kuwait Cancer Control Center; a governmental cancer center in Kuwait. Dr. Mustafa received honor includes ASCO International Development and Education Award, and Extended Tour Award (ETA) presented by ASCO in Robert H. Lurie Cancer Center Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Mentor: William Small Jr. He has 13 publications in journals. He is Editor for International Journal of Oncology Science - International Association Trust. He is also serving as member of the European Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, The Egyptian Gynecologic Cancer Society, and The European Society of Medical Oncology. He also attended number of conferences and training courses.
