Professional Summary
I am an Associate Professor and Senior Consultant in Clinical Biochemistry with extensive academic, clinical, and research experience. I obtained my Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry from Assiut University through a joint collaboration with King Saud University (2008–2013). During this period, I also worked as a researcher at the Obesity Research Center, King Saud University, where I contributed to research in metabolic disorders and related fields.
Currently, I serve as an Associate Professor of Clinical Biochemistry and Head of the Laboratory Medicine Department at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Hadhramout University. In addition, I hold the position of Senior Consultant in Clinical Chemistry at Hadhramout University Hospital (since 2022).
Beyond my academic and clinical roles, I am the Director of the International Cooperation and University Ranking Center at Hadhramout University (since 2018), where I lead initiatives related to global partnerships and institutional ranking development.
My research interests focus on clinical biochemistry, metabolic disorders, diabetes, endocrinology, and cancer biology, with a strong commitment to advancing translational research and improving diagnostic and clinical practices.

MOVE is an Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project that aims to strengthen the employability of university graduates in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and Yemen in the field of agricultural and environmental sciences.
