He got M.S. in Computer Science, Parallel Computing in 2002 from Al al-Bayt University, Mafraq, Jordan. Dr. Sulieman Bani-Ahmad obtained Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA in 2008 in Computing and Information Systems and Digital Libraries.

Mr. Sulieman Bani-Ahmads current research interests are Computing and Information Systems, Digital Libraries, Information Systems, Mesh-Based Parallel Computers, Processor Allocation in Mesh-Based Computer, Scocial Networks Analysis.

Bani-Ahmads research interests cover topics from Web-computing and Online Literature Digital Libraries. More specifically, he is interested in Social Network Analysis of literature citation graphs, domain-specific citation-behavior in literature citation networks, and research development models of literature. Bani-Ahmad also has works in the area of E-learning and technology-based teaching and has developed a tool for Multiple-Choice-based Exam-forms preparation. Finally, Bani-Ahmad also works in the area of parallel computing. More specifically, he worked on the topics of processor allocation and job scheduling.

Bani-Ahmad published in information retrieval and web computing conferences and journals such as Joint Conference on Digital Libraries (JCDL), European Conference on Research and Advanced Technology for Digital Libraries (ECDL), Innovations, in Information Technology, the International Conference on Education and Information Technology (ICEIT), the International Conference on Communication, Computing & Security (ICCCS), the International Conference on Signal and Image Processing (ICSIP), and the International Symposium on Parallel Architectures, Algorithms and Programming (PAAP). Bani-Ahmad has also published in multiple journals.
