He is also a member of following professional organizations, National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, The Linnean Society of London, Maharashtra Academy of Sciences, Society for Applied Biotechnology, Academy of Environmental Biology, Society of Biological Sciences and Rural Development, Bioved Research Institute of Agriculture & Technology, and Society of Life Sciences. Dr. Pramod received many distinctions such as Life Time Achievement Award, Er.V. S. Chauhan Gold Medal, Prof. K. S. Bilgramy Memorial Award, Certificate of appreciation awarded by Industrial Toxicology Research Center. His special achievement includes, member of 18th Indian Scientific Expedition to Antarctica, worked on diversity of Anaerobes. He also received number of research grants. He supervised 25 PhD and 41 MSc students. He has published 96 academic writings in journals and 2 books.
