Professional SummaryDr. Meeta jain is Reader in School of Biochemistry, Devi Ahilya University, Indore. Her broad research area is Plant Biochemistry. Presently she is involved in analyzing the effect of various abiotic stresss on a key physiological process f the plants-chlorophyll biosynthesis. She has published about 30 research papers in the journals of National and International repute. She has successfully completed two research projects sanctioned by UGC, New Delhi and MPCST, Bhopal. At present, she has One research project approved by UGC, New Delhi for proteomic studies in relation to salt stress. Recently she was rewarded with recognition award for her research contribution. Many research students are registered with Dr. Jain for Ph.D. degree. During her academic studies, she has many awards to credit- recipient of JRF and SRF from CSIR, New Delhi, M.P. Young Scientist Award, Gold medal, Silver medal etc. Dr. Jain has interest in various environmental and social issues of public concern.
