About

Professional Summary

Primary research interests focus on ruminant nutrition, in particular, rumen degradability, methanogenesis (enteric methane formation in ruminants), rumen fatty acid metabolism, using fat (protected or inert fat) during periods of negative energy balance. Feed evaluation, digestive physiology, and nutrition of dairy cows. Using non-traditional sources of protein and additives to optimize rumen microorganisms. Factors are affecting the efficiency of nutrient utilization in ruminants.
