Dr. Elsayed E. Hafez is currently working as Associate Professor of Molecular Plant Pathology, Plant Molecular Pathology Department, Arid Lands Institute, Mubarak City for Scientific Research and Technology Applications, Alexandria, Egypt. He obtained his Ph. D in Botany Department, Faculty of Science, Mansoura University, Egypt in 2003. He also worked as Researcher and Research Assistant at Mubarak City for Scientific Research and Technology Applications, Alexandria, Egypt, and Agriculture Research Center (ARC), Giza, Egypt. His teaching and Research interest focuses on Plant Genome Structure & Function, Plant-Microbe Interactions, Plant Biotic & Abiotic Stress, Defense System in Plant & Insects, DNA-Protein & Protein-Protein Interactions, Microbe-Microbe Interactions, and Molecular Genetics of Human Diseases. He is also working on many projects as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator. He is also serving as editor in number of journals.
