I am Dr. Nejat Kheiripour, an Assistant Professor of Clinical Biochemistry at Kashan University of Medical Sciences (KAUMS) in Iran, where I have been a faculty member since 2017. I am also an active research member of the Biochemistry and Nutrition Research Center for Metabolic Diseases at KAUMS. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Biochemistry from Hamadan University of Medical Sciences in 2017 and my M.Sc. in Clinical Biochemistry from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2013. My research focuses on oxidative stress, nanomedicine, and metabolic diseases, exploring how natural compounds like curcumin, silymarin, hesperidin, and crocin can protect tissues from injury through antioxidant and anti-inflammatory mechanisms. A significant part of my work involves designing smart nanocarriers to enhance the bioavailability and therapeutic efficacy of these compounds for applications in cancer, metabolic disorders, and toxin-induced injuries.
