Biography

Dr. Shahriar Shirvani Moghaddam is currently working as an Associate Professor at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Communications Department, Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications from Iran University of Science and Technology, Iran. His research area focuses on UND, HetNets, D2D Wireless Radio Communications, Cognitive Radio, Power Control and Beamforming in MIMO and Relay-based Cooperative Communication Systems, Narrowband/Wideband Adaptive Array Antennas, Narrowband/Wideband DOA Estimation, and Determining the Number of Radio Sources. He successfully completed 16 research projects for industry and University. He published two in Farsi about "Digital Communications and Its Applications," One book in Farsi entitled "Introduction to Electrical Engineering and Its Sub-fields," and One book as editor entitled "Cognitive Radio in 4G/5G Wireless Communications," and two book chapters, one about MIMO Channel Estimation and another one about Cognitive Radio. He is also serving as reviewer for more than 257 ISI, ISC and international journals’ papers, 134 conference papers, and 40 innovations. He supervised 3 PhD theses, 34 MSc Dissertations, and 27 BSc Projects. He also received 19 best researcher and lecturer awards. He has published 54 research articles in journals as well as 66 conference papers contributed as author/co-author.
