Biography

Dr. Vincent Shantha Kumar S is currently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Mechanical Engineering, BITS Pilani-Dubai Campus Dubai International Academic City, Dubai, UAE. He has completed his PhD from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur. His main area of research interest focuses on Thermodynamic Predictions and Crystallization Behavior of Glassy Alloys, Mechanical testing of Materials, Corrosion and Cytotoxicity studies, and Bio-materials. Dr. Vincent has published 12 research articles in journals. Dr. Vincent received honor includes BINANI Gold Medal 2013 from Indian Institute of Metals for Best Paper published in Transactions of Indian Institute of Metals under Non-Ferrous Metallurgy category, chosen as the best researcher from VNIT Nagpur, and awarded International Travel Grant from Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India. He also presented number of papers in international conferences. He is associate member of The Indian Institute of Metals and session member of The Indian Science Congress Association.
