Biography

Dr. Nahla Al Khatib is currently working as Academic Advisor at Faculty of Educational Studies, and Assistant Professor at Arab Open University Amman-Jordan. She has completed her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction /Education from University of Jordan -Amman and MS in Analytical Chemistry from University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Previously she was appointed as Teaching Assistant at University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, Lecturer in Department of Chemistry University of Jordan, Amman-Jordan, and IGCSE Chemistry Lecturer at Islamic Scientific College Amman-Jordan. She has published 8 research articles in journals. She also attended number of workshops and training. Dr. Nahla received honors includes AOU Excellence teaching award for the academic year 2011-2012, and Iowa University certificate of appreciation for leadership in improving teaching and Learning at Science Education. She is member of Jordanian Chemical Society, Jordan University Alumni, University of Cincinnati Alumni, and University of Iowa Science, Technology, Engineering and Math society.
