Biography

Dr. Marwan Saeed Abualrub holds a position of Professor of Applied Mathematics at Khalifa University Abu Dhabi, UAE. He earned his PhD in Applied Mathematics from University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), USA. Previously he was appointed as Teacher of Mathematics in a High School Ministry of Education Jordan, Lecturer of Mathematics at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Chicago, Illinois, USA, Instructor at the Mathematics and Computer Science Unit Basic University Education Center United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) Al-Ain, United Arab Emirates, Faculty member of University of Qatar (QU) Doha, Qatar, Zayed University (ZU) Dubai, UAE, and Prince Mohammad University Saudi Arabia. Dr. Marwan received honors includes Certificate of Excellence, Zayed University, Appreciation Certificate, Qatar University, Chosen as Outstanding Young Man of America for 1989, Chosen as the best Instructor at UIC, and Honors List at Yarmouk University. He has supervised 1 MSc and 1 PhD thesis. He is also serving as member of American Math Society and Society for Math Biology. His area of research interest focuses on Mathematical Biology & Mathematical Modeling. He is editor in chief for the International Journal of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics and editor for International Journals of Applied Mathematics in the USA and UK, and referee for Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, Computers and Mathematics with Applications and other Elsevier’s mathematics journals. He has published 22 research articles in journals as author/co-author.
