Dr. Ravindra Kumar is currently working as Scientist in Indian Agriculture Research Institute, Regional Station, Karnal, Haryana, India. He obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Agriculture from Department of Mycology and Plant Pathology, Banaras Hindu University Varanasi during 2007 and 2010 respectively. He was selected as ARS Scientist in ICAR, New Delhi in ARS–2009 batch. His areas of research interest are mycology, biological control of the phytopathogens, fungal pathology, plant-microbe interaction, fungal decomposition and seed pathology. He has to his credit more than 20 research papers and reviews published in reputed national and international journals. He also has several technical bulletins, technical and popular articles to his credit. He has written two text books on plant pathology. He has edited on book entitled as “Microbial Biodiversity: A boon for Agriculture Sustainability”. Dr. Ravindra Kumar has excellent scientific writing and editing skills. He has been associated with several professional/research societies of national and international repute. Presently, he is Technical Editor of Plant Pathology Journal (NAAS Rating 6.72) and Asian Journal of Plant Pathology.
