Biography

Dr.R.M.PALANIVEL is currently working in Assistant Professor, Quality Measurement & Evaluation Department of Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation (DQAA), Imam Abdul Rahman Bin Faisal University (IAU), Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Statistics from Annamalai University, Tamilnadu, India. He has potential skills in areas such as Biostatistics, Statistical Software, Structural Equation Modeling(SEM), Stochastic Modeling, and Survival Analysis. He is also serving as a Research Advisor for Postgraduate and Ph.D. students of various departments. He has two years of teaching experience (Biostatistics) in the Department of Community Medicine, SRM Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. He also involves the teaching of Biostatistics Courses in the Master of Public Health Program at IAU. He has a good knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that assess a university's performance. He is experienced in analyzing the KPIs and preparing the report based on the results. Such KPI reports aid the process of academic accreditation of a university. His research areas include Biostatistics, Structural Equation Modeling, Stochastic Modeling, and Survival Analysis in healthcare and higher education. His primary research interest is to apply various statistical tools and utilize advanced statistical software in data analysis. He has published more than 35 articles and 2 Books.
