Ramu Nagarajapillai

Dr. Ramu Nagarajapillai holds a position of Associate Professor at Annamalai University. He has completed his Ph.D. in Banking from same University. He is having 20 years working experience. He is member of many national and international bodies such as member of American Information Resource Center, United States Consulate General, Chennai, Indian Society for Management Development and Research, Allahabad, The Home Library Scheme, Publication Division Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, GOI, New Delhi, National Book Trust, India, New Delhi, life member of Association of Business Education and Entrepreneurship Development, Pune, International Association of Academicians and Researchers, Singapore, the All India Association for Educational Research, Bhubaneswar, Individual, senior life member of International Economics Development Research Center, Hong Kong, and International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology, Singapore, associate member of the Indian Tourism Congress (ITC), and many others. He has guided 7 M.Phil students and 3 PhD students. He is member of editorial board in more than 67 journals. He also presented number of paper in national and international meetings. He has published 31 research articles in journals as well as 14 articles and chapters in books contributed as author/co-author. He was received Research Award for the year 2014-16 from University Grants Commission and Best Research Publication Awarded for the year 2011-12 by Annamalai University. His area of expertise includes Banking, Cooperation and HRM Research Expertise: Rationale for the study of Urban Cooperative Banks in India, Dimensions of NPAs in Urban Cooperative Banks, Service Quality Dimensions of Urban Cooperative Banks, Performance Evaluation of Urban Cooperative Banks, and Human Resource Management in Cooperative Banks in India: Issues and Challenges.
