Ayushmaan Roy

Dr. Ayushmaan Roy is a pharmaceutical sciences academic and researcher specializing in Pharmaceutics, Novel Drug Delivery Systems, and nanomedicine. He holds an M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutics (Hons.) and is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Pharmacy at Kalinga University, Chhattisgarh, India. His academic and research interests focus on the development of advanced drug delivery systems for improving therapeutic efficacy, drug targeting, and patient outcomes.

His research work encompasses polymer-based nanoparticles, lipid-based nanocarriers, targeted drug delivery, cancer nanomedicine, formulation development, and pharmaceutical characterization. His research particularly explores innovative nanocarrier-based approaches for the effective delivery of anticancer agents, with an emphasis on colon cancer therapy, receptor-mediated targeting, and overcoming drug resistance. He has experience with formulation optimization, Design of Experiments (DoE), HPLC method development, and physicochemical characterization of pharmaceutical formulations.

Dr. Roy has contributed to peer-reviewed scientific literature in the areas of pharmaceutical sciences, drug delivery, cancer therapeutics, and flavonoid-mediated therapeutic strategies. His publications include research and review contributions in internationally recognized journals, including Q1-ranked journals. He is also actively involved in guiding undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students in research projects, formulation development, scientific writing, and pharmaceutical analysis.

Alongside research, he contributes to academic teaching, curriculum development, laboratory activities, student mentoring, and departmental academic and administrative responsibilities. His professional interests extend to emerging technologies in pharmaceutical formulation, nanotechnology, precision drug delivery, and the translation of laboratory research into clinically relevant therapeutic solutions.
