Dr. Ravikumar Dhirubhai Dodiya is a distinguished Assistant Research Scientist (Entomology) currently serving at the Date Palm Research Station of S. D. Agricultural University (SDAU) in Mundra, Gujarat. He transitioned into this role in late 2025 after gaining valuable experience as a Junior Research Fellow working on FMC India Ltd. sponsored projects.
Dr. Dodiya’s academic journey is marked by excellence across Gujarat's premier agricultural institutions. He earned his Ph.D. in Entomology from SDAU in 2025, following an M.Sc. from Anand Agricultural University (2022) and a B.Sc. from Junagadh Agricultural University (2020). Dr. Dodiya has received extensive recognition for his contributions to science, including a Gold Medal Award at the 13th International Conference (ICAHFAS-2026), the Best Ph.D. Thesis Award (2025), and the Young Researcher Award (2023-24). He also received "Best M.Sc. Thesis" awards from both Sabujeema and Vigyan Varta.
In addition to his research, he is a dedicated leader in the agricultural community, serving as the State President of the All India Agricultural Student Association (AIASA) Gujarat in 2025.
