Biography

Dr. Bhoj Raj Singh is currently working as Principal Scientist and Head in Division of Epidemiology, Indian Veterinary Research institute, Izatnagar. He has completed his Ph.D. in Veterinary Microbiology from Indian Veterinary Research Institute, India. He is life member of Society for Conservation & Resource Development of Medicinal Plants at New Delhi, Indian Association for Advancement of Veterinary Research, Indian Association of Veterinary Microbiologists, Immunologists and specialists in infection diseases (IAVMI), Izatnagar, Indian Society for Buffalo Development, Head quarter CIRB Hisar, Association of Microbiologists of India, annual member of Indian Science Congress, Association of Food Scientists and Technologists, India, Society for General Microbiology, Veterinary Council, U.P, Veterinary Council of India, Blue Cross Society of India, and American Association for the Advancement of the Science. He is also serving as reviewer of Research Proposals for National Center of Science and Technology Evaluation, Ministry of Education and Science, Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan- reviewed >60 Projects and reviewer for more than 40 International and Indian Journals. He has completed 19 research projects as principal investigator and co-investigator. As member of Advisory Committee he has completed dissertation 20 PG Students on various aspects of Salmonella and 10 on other animal pathogens and 6 students are worked for their Ph.D. He also participated in number of conferences and workshops and performed presentations. He has published 38 research articles in international journals, 93 research papers in Indian science journals, 13 book chapters, 28 invited/ expert lectures/ lead papers, 5 reports, 60 papers presented and published abstracts in national symposia/ seminars/ workshop/ conferences, and 15 papers presented/abstract published in international symposia/seminars/ conferences contributed as author/co-author. His current area of research interest focuses on studies on Epidemiology of Emergence of Antimicrobial Drug Resistance and Synergy of Herbal Antimicrobials and Antibiotics, and studies on Growth Kinetics and Survival of Gallibacterium Anatis in presence of Heavy Water.
