Biography

Dr. Mallikarjuna Koriviis is currently serving as Research Assistant Professor at Laboratory of Exercise Biochemistry, Department of Sports Science, University of Taipei, Taiwan. His prior work experience includes Research Assistant Professor, Researcher, Project In-charge, Collaborator and Postdoctoral Fellow. He completed his PhD in Zoology (Division of Molecular & Exercise Biology) from Sri Venkateswara University, India in 2006. He also guided 5 master students as co-advisor. More than 4 years experience (2002-2006) in handling both theory and practical classes to post-graduate (M.Sc.) students in biochemistry and molecular biology subjects at SriVenkateswara University, Tirupati India. He has also assisted for writing the course material of biochemistry and physiology for the distance education master program curriculum. His research interest inclined towards pharmacology, nutrition, free radical biology, sports medicine, exercise biochemistry, diabetes, toxicology, stroke rehabilitation, cancer biology, aging physiology, and animal behavior. He is an active reviewer, editorial board member of many journals and also the member of several projects and professional scientific bodies. He has received number of awards and honor in different categories. He has published 51 articles in international and national peer reviewed journals, and (01) book. Currently, he is engaged in several research articles and journals. He is also the part of newspaper articles.
