Biography

Dr. Nikunj B. Gajera, Scientist in Terrestrial Ecology Division holds M.Sc. and M.Phil (Animal Science) from the Saurashtra University, Rajkot and Ph. D in Zoology (Ornithology) from KSKV Kachchh University, Bhuj, Gujarat. He has 10 years of research experience as Research Fellow (RF) (3 years in Life sciences Department of North Gujarat University), Junior Research Fellow (2 years), and Senior Research Fellow (1 year), Programme Coordinator (1 Year), Project Scientist (2 years). His research interest is on animal behavioral and ecology, taxonomy, traditional ecological knowledge and biodiversity conservation.
