Biography

Dr. Ashok Kumar Tiwari is currently working as Principal Scientist at Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Zoology from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. His main area of interest related to Metabolic Disorders and Development of Bio-Actives. He is member of editorial board in 6 scientific journals. He is life member of Indian Society for Atherosclerosis Research, Indian Society for Comparative Animal Physiology, and Banaras Hindu University Old Students Association. Dr. Ashok Kumar received honors includes 1st prize in IUPAC International conference on biodiversity and natural products, 2nd prize in Rastriya Vigyan Sangoshthi, held at NGRI, Best Poster Award In INDO-US CCNP-2006, Indo-US conference, and Awarded with the title International Scientist of the Year 2007 by International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England. He has published 24 patents, more than 92 articles in journal as author/co-author. He also participated in 62 conferences and performed many presentations.
