Biography

Dr. Shakir Ali is currently working as Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. He has received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in the year 2002. He is having 11 years teaching experience and 15 years research experience. Previously he was appointed as Research Associate, Lecturer and Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Aligarh Muslim University. He has supervised 3 PhD and 2 M.Phil students. Dr. Shakir received honors includes Best Research Paper Presentation Award for the year 2008, Best Research Paper Presentation Award for the year 2003 at the 69th Annual Conference of the Indian Mathematical Society, and received Research Associateship (PDF), Junior Research Fellowship from University Grants Commission. He has completed 4 research projects as principal investigator and co-investigator. He also visited number national international institutes for academic pursuits. He is life member of Calcutta Mathematical Society, Indian Science Congress Association, Ramanujam Mathematical Society, Indian Mathematical Society, and member of American Mathematical Society. He is also serving as editor for Journal Algebra and Computation Application, American Journal of Applied Mathematics and Statistics Universal Journal of Computational Mathematics, Applied Science Reporter, Pure and Applied Mathematics Journal, regional editor for Words of Science & Technology Journal, and reviewer for the American Math. He is also acting as referee for number of journals. Dr. Shakir has published 61 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author. He has attended number of conferences, workshops and seminars and also performed many presentations.
