Biography

Dr. Anil Kumar Misra is currently working as Associate Professor at The Northcap University, India. He has completed his Ph.D. in Hydrology and Remote Sensing from University of Lucknow, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Previously he was appointed as Research Associate-III at Earthquake Risk Evaluation Center (EREC), India, Research Associate-I at Seismology Division, Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology; Govt. of India, Project Scientist at Natural resource Information consultants, Lucknow, Research Assistant at University of Lucknow, India, and Geophysicist/Hydro Geologist/Remote Sensing & GIS Analyst at Natural resource Information consultants, Lucknow. He also received professional training from various national institutes. He has completed 3 research projects as principal investigator and project supervisor. He has published 12 research articles in journals and 3 books contributed as author/co-author. He is member of editorial board in Open Transactions on Geosciences and American Journal of Environmental Policy and Management. AASCIT, USA. Dr. Anil received Best Emerging Researcher Award: 2012-2013, ITM University, Gurgaon, Haryana. He is also acting as reviewer for Journal of Hazardous Material, Environment Pollution and Public Health, African Journal of Environmental Sciences and Technology, Applied Water Science, and Environmental Monitoring and Assessment. Dr. Anil is also serving as member of Research Board of Advisors, American Biographical Institute, USA, and Indian Science Congress. He also attended number of conferences and seminars.
