Biography

Dr. Seracettin Arasan has completed his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Ataturk University, Erzurum, Turkey in 2010. His main area of interest focuses on Geotechnical Engineering, Geoenvironmental Engineering, Waste Disposal Landfills, Clayey Soils and Mineralogy, Effect of Chemicals on Clayey Soils, Soil improvement techniques, Image analysis of Soils, Image processing, Artificial Neural Network, Linear and non-linear Regression analysis, Organoclays, Poly-organoclay, and Fractal Geometry. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor at Ataturk University, Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering Turkey, Erzurum. He has published 19 research articles in journals as well as 22 conferences preceding contributed as author/co-author.
