Biography

Dr. Chia-Kwung Fan is currently working as Professor & Chairman in the Department of Molecular Parasitology and Tropical Diseases at School of Medicine, Taipei Medical University, Taipei, Taiwan. He obtained his PhD in Parasitology from National Taiwan University College of Medicine, Taiwan. In past he worked as Adjunctive Professor at University of Swaziland, Southern Africa, Instructor, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor, at Taipei Medical University College of Medicine. He is professional member of following societies, Society of Parasitology, Society of Veterinary Medicine, and Society of Medical Technologist Taiwan, Korean Society of Parasitology, Korea, Japanese Society of Parasitology, Japan, Japanese Society of Tropical Medicine, Japan, American Society of Tropical Medicine, American Society of Parasitology. He is also invited as speaker in number of conferences and universities. He is also serving as reviewer in number of international journals and also member of editorial board in many international journals. He has published 15 articles in journals in which contributed as writer/co-writer.
