Biography

You-Cheng Shen, he received the B.S. degree (2001) in the Department of Nutrition, Chung Shan Medical University (CSMU) in Taiwan. He also completed master and Ph.D. courses together at the department of Nutrition CSMU and got a Ph.D. degree in January 2009. Now, he is an assistant professor of Department of Health Diet and Industry Management (CSMU, 2010~). In recent years, he actively participates in international academic activities, including International Conference and Exhibition on Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods 2008-2019, 9th International Conference on Nutrition and Physical Activity (NAPA2018), and the International Conference of food safety and health 2019 (FSAH2019). These experiences were helpful to him in self-improvement.

He is a life member of the Nutrition Society of Taiwan, the Taiwan Association for Food Science and Technology, and the Taiwan Food Technologists Association. He was also a dietitian in Taiwan (2001) and received clinical trial training courses (2005~). He was a Deputy Secretary-General of the Nutrition Society of Taiwan from June 11, 2009. At CSMU, He finished 42 papers and published a total of 40 posters. His study focused on nutraceuticals and functional foods. He has participated in several human clinical trials, including anti-age, regulate blood pressure, and regulation intestinal bacterial flora, etc.
